Are you trying to decide between buffet style or plated dinner for your wedding reception? During covid our vote is definitely plated dinner. Safety is your vendors first priority for you, your guests, and themselves. Dinner being served by your caterer is a very safe option.
As pictured, you can have your guest choose their entree with their R.S.V.P. as our clients Ram + Kalyani did. They then had place cards made with assigned tables and added a colored sticker for the guest entrees. It was easy for their caterer to identify if the guest was having a chicken entree or beef entree. You can also choose a color for a child’s entree if children will be attending your reception. You can create something very simple and similar for your wedding reception.
So you see, a plated option can run seamlessly by your vendor team and minimize exposures.
