So today we wanted to give you a tip on attire for the morning of your wedding day....
Getting ready attire is as almost important as your dress. Why? On the morning of, you'll be getting your hair + makeup done and you want to wear something comfortable. We recommend wearing something that does not have to go over your head to take it off. All of that hard work that your glamour squad just put in will go to waste and they will likely have to make some corrections if you wear something that has to go over your head.

Robes are always a great option. You can wear your under garments underneath and when your glamour team is done with hair and makeup all you will need to do is slip off the robe. Another great alternative would be oversized button down lounge shirts or sets with pants or shorts. There are so many cute options that you can have personalized with color, monogrammed, and material!

Hey Soon to be Bride!
Are you trying to decide between buffet style or plated dinner for your wedding reception? During covid our vote is definitely plated dinner. Safety is your vendors first priority for you, your guests, and themselves. Dinner being served by your caterer is a very safe option.
As pictured, you can have your guest choose their entree with their R.S.V.P. as our clients Ram + Kalyani did. They then had place cards made with assigned tables and added a colored sticker for the guest entrees. It was easy for their caterer to identify if the guest was having a chicken entree or beef entree. You can also choose a color for a child’s entree if children will be attending your reception. You can create something very simple and similar for your wedding reception.
So you see, a plated option can run seamlessly by your vendor team and minimize exposures.

Today we wanted to discuss how you can choose the perfect venue for your wedding day. Here at It's My Day Special Events, we think the most important thing to consider when choosing your wedding venue is your guest count. You want your wedding venue to be able to accommodate your guest count comfortably. The space should have plenty of room for tables and other events that will take place at your wedding. 
Of course the next important factor when choosing your wedding venue is your style. The ideal venue should have ample character that fits your style without manipulating it with a lot of decor. If you like the rustic look make sure the venue has that character, and all rustic looks and weddings doesn't have to be in a barn; We have recommendations for venues that can give you that beautiful rustic charm you desire.

Hello soon to be bride! We're excited that you've visited our page! Today we want to give you a tip on how to save and repurpose your ceremony flowers.  
A traditional wedding ceremony typically lasts from 20 to 30 minutes. If you have a lot of ceremony arrangements you can opt to repurpose those florals for your reception. Yep, that's right..extra money in your purse! 
This is something that you can discuss with your florist if you're on a tight budget. They are the experts and have many tricks on how to give you the look that you're wanting while staying within your budget. So be sure to pick their brains so that you guys can come up with a great plan for your wedding day. 
So how do you transport the flowers from your ceremony to your reception area? Won't the florist be gone after they set up for my ceremony? Well that's where a Day of Coordinator comes in handy! And yes, after your florist has set up for the ceremony they will be off site before your ceremony begins.
Here our couple had this amazing arch and two focal floral pieces made by the talented Just Priceless Floral Design. Since their ceremony and reception was in the same space this made for an easier transition. During the room flip we centered their sweetheart table under the floral arch, and used the two main focal arrangements on two dinner tables, and the bridal bouquets were used for smaller arrangements as shown. Everything looked lavish and it was the style the couple was going for and they were able to stay on budget.
